Murex Implementation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Murex professional to join our team as an Implementation Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of our production system for Murex 3.1.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and configure Murex systems across various aspects, including data mart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify project requirements.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  • Foster a culture of quality by following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • Support audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Design and test database and infrastructure changes.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Document issues and resolutions within our knowledge base.
  • Enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Partner with business users across the organization, including front, middle, and back office, finance, product control, and risk.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, providing detailed information about issues and coordinating testing fixes/solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of DataMart principles.
