Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing Medicines: You will be responsible for accurately dispensing medicines based on prescriptions received from physicians. This involves verifying medication information, checking for potential interactions, and providing patients with clear instructions on how to use their medications.
  • Interpreting Prescriptions: A critical aspect of this role is reading and interpreting prescriptions accurately. This requires strong attention to detail and an ability to understand medical terminology.
  • Medicine Recommendations: In certain situations, you may be required to recommend alternative medications or treatment options. This involves assessing patients' medical histories and making informed decisions about the best course of action.
  • Substitute Brands: When necessary, you may need to suggest substitute brands for medications. This requires knowledge of different pharmaceutical products and their properties.
  • Financial Management: The Pharmacy Staff role also involves managing invoicing and billing processes. This includes tracking sales, handling customer payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer applications are used extensively in pharmacy operations. Therefore, proficiency in using software such as dispensing systems, cash registers, and electronic health records is essential.
Eligibility Criteria:

Pharmacist:

  • Qualification: D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm
  • Registration: Must have Telangana State PCI registration

Pharmacy Assistant:

  • Qualification: SSC or above
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
