Job Title: Product Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Development Director to spearhead the development and launch of innovative market-driven products. This role requires gathering market insights from Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), developing product launch plans, conducting sales force training, and implementing market research strategies for brand performance enhancement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Generate new product ideas from KOL interactions, prioritize these ideas, prepare business cases, analyze market and competitor data, and handle creative aspects like branding.

• Prepare product launch materials, coordinate launch meetings, train the sales force, and track initial product performance for the first 12 months to ensure effective product marketing.

• Gather market insights, identify key issues, and implement action plans to maintain optimal brand performance, including conducting market research for brand positioning correction.

• Interact with KOLs, conduct fieldwork to gather insights, update KOLs on product value, and collate product evidence and clinical reports to build strong relationships and drive growth.

• Manage Supply Chain Management by tracking product quantities and supply, sharing new product plan quantities with the SCM team, and addressing product shortages or excess to ensure product availability in the market.

Qualifications:

Educational qualification- Science/Pharma/Medical Graduate preferably with MBA in Marketing

Minimum work experience- 2-3 years of experience in sales and 1-2 years of experience in marketing

• Understanding of Pharmaceutical industry; ability to interpret market data; gain marketing insights from various resources

• Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology

• Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the generics market
