Global renewable investor and developer company seeks a skilled Financial Modelling Manager to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, developing, and running financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects.

  1. They will evaluate RFPs to populate required and relevant assumptions and structure into the financial model used for bidding process.
  2. The candidate will collate and coordinate inputs from various teams including Development, Project Financing, Finance (Accounting and Tax), EPC, and others as required for the purposes of populating assumptions and structure in the financial model.
  3. Supporting Development, EPC, and Financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to seek optimal economic benefits and analyze key drivers is also an essential part of the job.
  4. The Financial Modelling Manager will assist model auditors with model audit process as and when required.
  5. They will also assist lenders with model during project finance process as and when required.
  6. The candidate will have complete ownership of financial model; supporting the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  7. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close.
  8. Prepare presentation related to the financial analysis.
  9. Training and supervision of incoming junior modeler are also included in the responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

  1. A business, finance, or accounting degree from a reputed institution is mandatory.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models is required.
  3. Hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling is also necessary.
  4. Ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration is crucial for success in this role.
