Cloud Security Architect Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of secure private cloud environments. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security ecosystems and the ability to develop and deploy advanced security controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Security Controls: Develop and deploy robust security controls for private cloud infrastructure, encompassing network, firewall, database, perimeter, and endpoint security.
  • Infrastructure Security Management: Oversee the security of clusters, applications, and networking layers, integrating security best practices into development activities.
  • Cybersecurity Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security incidents in private cloud environments, employing a holistic understanding of cloud security components and their integration with other systems.
  • Security Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with development teams to gather security requirements and implement corresponding cybersecurity solutions in cloud environments.
  • Data Protection and Access Control: Establish and maintain data security controls and access control measures within the cloud environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Cloud Security Expertise: Proven experience in securing private cloud infrastructure and applications, with hands-on knowledge of container security tools and vulnerability scanning.
  • Development Integration: Strong understanding of development tools and their integration with security practices.
  • Certifications and Compliance: Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP) and solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
