Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Administrator to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Cluster Management: Install, configure, and manage large-scale Kafka clusters on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Upgrade and Patching: Perform upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, collect metrics, and optimize configurations to ensure scalability and security.
  • Automation and Collaboration: Automate Kafka cluster installations, topic/ACL/connector deployments, and collaborate with developers to provide Kafka expertise.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Kafka Administration (Confluent & AWS MSK)
    • Big Data & Hadoop Ecosystem
    • Apache Spark
    • Linux/Unix Systems & Windows Server
    • Shell/Python scripting
    • Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, GitOps
    • CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins
    • Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
    • Atlassian stack: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket (Git)
  • Good to Have:
    • Experience with IBM MQ / RabbitMQ
    • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, ServiceNow
