About this Role
We're seeking a detail-driven Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our flagship mobile franchise, Jackpot Party Casino. As a key member of our LiveOps team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability across all game content and features.
This is a fully remote position that requires a high level of autonomy, discipline, and self-motivation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to identify potential quality risks early and implement effective solutions.
Your primary focus will be on developing and executing tests for new features, tools, and game content to ensure they meet exacting standards. You'll also be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans, executing tests across various environments, and documenting issues using bug tracking software.
In addition to your technical skills, you'll need to possess excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and teams. Your ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and take ownership of your work will be essential in driving quality and excellence in everything you do.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all software is functioning as intended with an exceptional level of detail and accuracy
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms
- Document and track issues using bug tracking software from discovery through resolution
- Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early
- Reproduce and isolate complex issues to support engineering resolution efforts
- Generate clear and concise QA documentation, reports, and feedback summaries
- Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest process improvements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional QA experience in games or software testing
- A strong understanding of LiveOps processes, config validations, and content testing
- The ability to work independently in night shifts, staying highly responsive and accountable
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
