Data Analyst Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to help stakeholders make informed decisions. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with expertise in Power BI.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports, collecting, processing, and cleaning data from multiple sources, performing in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, collaborating with business units to understand reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in reporting outputs, optimizing data models and queries for performance and scalability, automating data workflows and reporting processes where possible, documenting data definitions, metrics, and report logic, and providing support and training to end users on how to use Power BI dashboards effectively.

Required skills and qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role, proficiency in Power BI, strong knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with Excel, Python, or R.
