Job Title: Event Operations Director
Division: MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions)
Location: Delhi
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end operations of MICE events, including logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team management.
- Lead the operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business goals.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
- Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
- Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
- Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
- Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
- Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
