Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our technical team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the commissioning, service, and repair of equipment in the marine/shipbuilding sector.

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electronics/Automation/Electrical Engineering (with experience in commissioning/service/repair in Marine/Shipbuilding sector).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in PLC programming and SCADA systems, control systems, commissioning experience in Marine Tank Gauging and control system, Ballast Water Management system, Valve remote control system, etc.
Essential Skills:
  • PLC Programming and SCADA Systems: Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems is fundamental. This includes knowledge of specific brands like Schneider, Phoenix, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, or Siemens and the ability to develop, test, and commission applications.
  • Control Systems: Deep understanding of control systems, including sensors, actuators, transmitters, and control valves, is crucial.
  • A solid foundation in electrical and electronic engineering principles is essential for understanding and maintaining complex systems found on ships.
  • Ability to travel various locations in India at customer location.
  • Good coordination skills with principals and customers for service/commissioning related matters.
  • Logical and critical thinking skills to site work.
  • Sound written and verbal English communication skills.
