**Job Opportunity:** Head of Data Programming
Job Description: Lead a team of clinical data programmers with advanced technical solutions such as SAS, R and other relevant applications. The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, or alternatively a BSc or MSc in Lifesciences, Medical or PharmD supported by on-the-job training/certification in data programming.

About This Role:
  • This is a leadership position that requires the ability to manage/plan workload, set strategy and priorities, and mentor staff effectively.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to global assets across various therapeutic areas, shaping strategic decisions in clinical data programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of clinical data programmers working with advanced technical solutions such as SAS, R and other relevant applications.
  2. Manage workload, set the team's strategy and priorities and mentor staff effectively.
  3. Contribute to global assets across a variety of therapeutic areas, shaping strategic decisions in clinical data programming.
  4. Enable the organization in activities like medical data review, safety surveillance and central data monitoring.
  5. Lead the Data Review Visualization and Reporting Governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BSc or MSc in a numerate discipline preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, or alternatively a BSc or MSc in Lifesciences, Medical or PharmD.
  • Proven track record of success in statistical/data programming role, data management or equivalent roles at the global level in clinical development.
  • Experience in an international environment with deliverables that were global.
  • Strong understanding of systems, processes and interfaces related to clinical development programs.
