Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a C++ Backend Developer.

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience designing and implementing server-based applications for enterprise environments, or 2 years of experience for junior roles.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS databases like SQL and query optimization is necessary.
  • Experience in backend development with C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the latest C++ development standards, algorithms, STL containers, and data structures is expected.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, handling big data, server architecture (load balancing, multi-threading, logging, etc.), microservices, and highly scalable, testable code is essential.
  • Knowledge of Solr, Lucene, Elastic Search engines, CI / CD pipelines, code versioning, testing & debugging tools, and product development methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a startup culture, prioritize teamwork, and deliver high-quality outcomes is critical.

Responsibilities

  • This role involves further development and maintenance of the C++ based software backend.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in the design phase up to the final testing and contribute to mentoring and developing young colleagues.
  • High-quality implementation of logics and connections to external systems via diverse APIs is required.
  • Continuous Optimization of the Software and integrations with update and configuration management tools is expected.
  • Diverse development of well-founded and exciting test and development tools for the processes and challenges of development support is desirable.
