We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to ensure the quality of software products. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, and knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
- Conduct extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
- Database testing using SQL.
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
