Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Job Responsibilities
  • We design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright or similar frameworks to ensure application quality.
  • We collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
  • We build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing to increase efficiency.
  • We integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments and reduce time-to-market.
  • We identify defects and track them using tools like JIRA, then collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
  • We develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing efforts.
  • We perform performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
