Job Title: PLM Teamcenter Developer

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our global software development team as a PLM Teamcenter Developer. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and deliver integrated PLM software solutions to support our business needs.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented software engineer with experience in PLM Teamcenter development to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on PLM applications, and will be able to work collaboratively with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions for key business PLM applications
  • Perform DevOps release management and incident management following ITIL framework
  • Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions to problems involving causes that are not obvious
  • Maintain, modify, and support sub-system or 3rd party components
  • Perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability
  • Complete unit testing of all work processes
  • Work according to requirements developed through collaborative efforts with business design groups
  • Adhere to the software development lifecycle
  • Communicate with project management, leaders, architects, and stakeholders
  • Write and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility
  • Investigate emerging technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience developing using C++
  • 4-6 years of experience as a PLM Teamcenter Developer
  • Experience with scripting languages like SQL, Batch scripting, PowerShell or equivalent
  • Experience with DevOps toolchains like Azure, Jira, Selenium or equivalent
  • Experience with modern CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
  • Experience with code repository such as SVN, GitHub, or equivalent
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS, JSON & JavaScript, or equivalent
  • Experience with Java desired but not required
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter desired but not required
Skills and Abilities:
  • Self-motivated and able to work under broad supervision
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Capacity to work across multiple geographies and/or business functions
  • Ability to translate technical jargon and communicate effectively
