Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced data professional to spearhead our data stewardship initiatives.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will lead integrated Data & AI stewardship strategies for Marketing and Consumer Engagement, ensuring seamless execution.
  • They will align stewardship with business priorities, providing guidance on opportunities for data-enabled process improvement.
  • A key responsibility will be developing templates and frameworks for capturing complex data design and business process metadata.
  • Another crucial task is building a backlog of data improvements and quick wins for governance councils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map critical data elements against marketing processes, fostering data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate on logical data models supporting marketing and enterprise-wide capabilities, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
  • Embed data governance and stewardship into marketing processes, promoting accountability and ownership.
  • Ensure metadata is captured, curated, and maintained (F.A.I.R. – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), enhancing data usability.

Enablement of AI/Analytics

  • Analyze, document, and orchestrate fit-for-purpose data for marketing innovation, driving growth.
  • Work with data architects, engineers, scientists, and AI teams to prepare data for analytics, facilitating insights.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to improve and publish KPI metrics on adoption, showcasing success.

Cross-functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Orchestrate support for data issues across markets, ensuring cohesive solutions.
  • Manage relationships with business and technology stakeholders, maintaining effective communication.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities, promoting transparency and trust.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices, embracing continuous learning.
  • Adapt stewardship processes to evolving needs, demonstrating agility and responsiveness.
  • Support change management, training, and data literacy efforts, fostering a culture of excellence.

People Management:

Guide and manage Regional Data Stewards to coordinate data stewardship at regional and market levels, ensuring consistent execution.
