Game Economy Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced Game Economy Designer to create engaging and enriching social casino gaming experiences for players worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop compelling economy models that drive player engagement and satisfaction.
  2. Design and balance in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems.
  3. Analyze data modeling and player segmentation to forecast behavioral trends and evaluate the impact of new features.
  4. Continuously iterate on game economy design based on KPI analysis to enhance player performance.
  5. Plan and design economy-driven live events and promotions (e.g., sales, challenges, time limited events).
  6. Conduct and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention.
  7. Prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for cross-functional teams and collaborate with them as they implement it.
  8. Design systems to prevent exploits, control inflation, and maintain long-term economic stability.
  9. Ensure consistent economic balance and fairness across platforms.
Desired Profile:
  • 5+ years of experience in game economy design, preferably in Social Casino games.
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets or other statistical tools for analytical modeling.
  • Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and analysts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
