Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Visualization Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building data visualizations using React, Raphael JS, and SVG, while ensuring accessibility and adherence to WCAG & ARIA standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting intuitive experiences at the intersection of design, accessibility, and technology. They will work closely with design and UX teams to create visually engaging and fully usable tools.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build accessible data visualizations using React, Raphael JS, and SVG, aligned with WCAG & ARIA standards.
  • Ensure clean, semantic, accessible code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Conduct accessibility testing (automated tools like Axe, Wave, Lighthouse, plus manual testing).
  • Collaborate with design and UX teams to create visually engaging and fully usable tools.
  • Document accessibility practices and maintain consistent guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with emerging accessibility standards and visualization best practices.
  • Requirements:
  • 3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally with visualization tools.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.
  • Proficiency in Raphael JS and SVG for building data visualizations.
  • Solid understanding of WCAG and ARIA standards.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
