Job Opportunity: Assurance Senior Associate

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs and expectations, encompassing their business operations, industry trends, accounting systems, employees, company values, and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Demonstrate expertise in audit methodologies and tools, ensuring thorough documentation of work performed.
  • Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with established audit standards, maintaining high-quality documentation.
  • Identify areas of risk and accounting/auditing concerns, collaborate with engagement teams to resolve any arising issues.
  • Conduct research on technical accounting matters.
  • Enhance industry expertise through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Promote quality in audit reports and management letters.
  • Maintain professional skepticism and adhere to the code of ethics during engagements.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly with audit professionals.
  • Provide supervision and development training for associates.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence.
  • Prioritize timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations.
Required Qualifications
  • Semi-qualified ACCA/CPA or qualified CA/ACCA/Licensed CPA.
  • Relevant experience working in accounting and audit roles, particularly in the NFP sector (2-4 years).
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, including IFRS/GAAP and GAAS.
  • Data analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, essential for frequent communications with clients and engagement teams.
