About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead robotic product development and oversee a high-performing mechanical design team.

  • Lead the design & development of robotic products from concept to manufacturing.
  • Mentor and manage the mechanical design team, ensuring design best practices and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of robotics, industrial automation, and related fields. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop robotic products from concept to manufacturing.
  2. Mentor and manage the mechanical design team.
  3. Use SolidWorks for 3D modeling, motion studies, assembly design & detailing.
  4. Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings (GD&T, BOMs, tolerance stack-up).
  5. Drive R&D initiatives, contribute to patents and IP filings.
Requirements
  • 6-12 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or related fields.
  • Deep expertise in SolidWorks, including motion study, GD&T application, assembly design, and detailing.
  • Proven track record in leading product development from concept to manufacturing in the industrial domain.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication techniques: sheet metal design, cable routing, and machined parts integration.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing detailed BOMs, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
