Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team as a Controls SME.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and levels of effort for BMS and power management projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS improvement projects in data centers.
  • Assist with procurement-related activities, including requesting quotations/proposals, responding to requests for information, reviewing vendors' proposals, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Support controls projects related to commissioning activities in data centers.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
  • Evaluate designs and installations to ensure they meet requirements, such as predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.
  • Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.
  • Experience of 10+ years in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application-specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software, and networks.
  • Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate challenging situations.
  • Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.
  • TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
