About our Senior Public Relations role

This job involves working in an in-office setting and collaborating with a team to provide excellent public relations services.

  • Client & Media Relations:
    • Liaise daily with clients and media via phone and email, building strong relationships and networks.
    • Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.
  • Media Monitoring & Coverage:
    • Monitor traditional and digital media, including newspapers, magazines, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires.
    • Collate, analyze, and evaluate media coverage, tracking newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities.
  • Publicity & Campaign Management:
    • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns, creating quarterly roadmaps to achieve client goals.
    • Prepare briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews.
    • Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media.
    • Promote news stories and features, writing and producing presentations, in-house magazines, brochures, reports, and promotional materials.
  • Event Management:
    • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits.
    • Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms.
  • Brand Development:
    • Develop and foster relationships with brands and third parties on behalf of ESSC.
    • Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals.
  • Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement:
    • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness.
    • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities.
  • Research & Analysis:
    • Commission and undertake market research.
    • Research new business proposals and present to potential clients.
    • Analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.
  • Team Contribution:
    • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment.
    • Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed.
