Insurance Broking Professional

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broking Professional to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai / Pune and involves working with our onshore broking team to deliver exceptional client service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the onshore broking team in all aspects of client service, including client contact, administration, technical support and business development. They will also ensure the accurate, efficient and timely production of all clients, insurer and policy related documentation across the insurance life cycle.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting the onshore broking team with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs which accurately address client needs
  • Supporting the senior leaders in the development of core content and execution strategy for process efficiencies and strategic outcomes
  • Actively assisting the onshore broking teams with the development of additional business from their existing portfolios and with the acquisition of new business
  • Monitoring the accuracy and performance of outputs from the operations processing team

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and 6+ years of relevant experience in general insurance or financial lines within a broking or underwriting environment. They will also possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and be familiar with relevant legislation.
