Mainframe Specialist

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in our team by leveraging your expertise in mainframe technologies to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- You will design, implement, and maintain scalable mainframe solutions utilizing advanced technologies such as DB2, CICS, MQ, ZOS, Control-M, and other related platforms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify key business requirements and develop tailored mainframe solutions that cater to the organization's needs.
- You will conduct thorough code reviews and quality assurance for COBOL applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- In addition, you will be responsible for configuring and managing Linux One and PCM + Networking environments to support the organization's technological infrastructure.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe consulting or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in multiple mainframe technologies, including DB2, CICS, MQ, ZOS, and Control-M, is essential.
- A strong understanding of COBOL programming language and its applications is crucial for success in this role.
- Experience with Linux One and PCM + Networking is an asset, but not mandatory.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team is vital.
