AWS Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud architectures to align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and implement cloud infrastructure according to best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Cloud Services Development: Develop cloud-based solutions using EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC services.
  • Automation and Deployment: Automate deployment and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Security Measures: Implement security measures, including IAM, VPC security, and data protection to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaboration and CI/CD: Collaborate with development teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows and automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
  • Cloud Cost Analysis: Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field with AWS focus.
  • Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with scripting and programming languages for automation tasks, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including network protocols, architecture, and security.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and orchestration tools, like Kubernetes.
  • DevOps Principles: Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Certification: AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
