About the Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain infrastructure supporting ad exchange applications, including load balancers, data stores, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring stacks.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure resilience, scalability, and efficiency to meet request volumes and latency requirements.
  • Develop policies and procedures enhancing platform stability and participate in on-call schedules.

Collaboration with Developers

  • Work closely with developers to establish quality and performance benchmarks for applications before production deployment.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on infrastructure-related aspects to improve system performance.

Infrastructure Development

  • Develop tools simplifying and enhancing infrastructure management, automating processes, and improving operational efficiency.
  • These tools may address areas like monitoring, alerting, deployment automation, and failure detection and recovery.

Performance Optimization

  • Focus on reducing latency and maximizing efficiency across components, from request handling in load balancers to database optimization.
  • Implement best practices and tools for performance monitoring, including real-time analysis.

Requirements

  • B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing services in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and modern software architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, or Ruby, with a focus on automation.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and virtualization platforms.
  • Ability to own problem statements, manage priorities, and drive solutions.

  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform.
  • Configuration Management Tools: Nix, Ansible.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Databases: MySQL, Redis.
  • Loading Balancers Servers: Haproxy, Nginx.
  • Operating Systems and Networking Fundamentals.
  • Version Control Systems: Git.
