Work You'll Do

The primary role is to enhance our competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organisation.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
• Candidates must have experience of analysis and design of business processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient with Azure cloud computing including big data technologies.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Experience designing and building Data Platforms integrating disparate data sources.
• Understanding of big data and distributed Architecture.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing Big Data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.
• Experience with Azure: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Stream Analytics, SQL DW, Analysis Services, Azure Functions.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python/Scala, SQL, Spark-SQL.
