Job Title: Data Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data solutions professional with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform.

This is a remote opportunity for an experienced specialist to work on challenging projects across various industries.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop robust data pipelines for batch and real-time processing using GCP tools.
  • Construct large datasets to meet diverse business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Leverage GCP services including Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to build integrated systems.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer.
  • Work with SAP SLT to replicate SAP data to Google Cloud.
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure pipeline reliability and scalability.
  • Ensure data security and governance using IAM roles, policies, and data masking techniques.
  • Monitor pipelines using logs and alerts to proactively manage performance.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering with GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce.
  • A strong understanding of different file formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, ORC, Avro).
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts.
  • Experience with API development and consumption.
