We're seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team, bringing expertise in designing and implementing modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with DW/BI leads to develop forward-thinking solutions in data engineering and analytics, and work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop solutions that drive business value through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with DW/BI leads to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new ETL pipeline development requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying gaps in existing pipelines and implementing fixes.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop data models to fulfill them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of experience in data warehouse/ETL projects.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Snowflake security, Snowflake SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowsight, and Snowflake connectors.
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles.
  • Good understanding of Databricks Data & AI platform and Databricks Delta Lake Architecture.

  • Snowflake/Azure Data Factory/PySpark.
