Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented procurement professional to manage end-to-end import operations and contribute to our company's global growth strategy.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience, or Graduate/Postgraduate with 8-10 years of experience
  • Technical proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office and SAP MM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely float purchase orders for import items as per production schedule and receive indent
  • Offer collection, preparation of commercial documents, and creation of purchase orders, contracts, and service work orders in SAP
  • Release vendor payments as per terms and follow up on delivery status with shippers
  • Coordinate with various departments, suppliers, and freight forwarders for timely delivery
  • Prepare and update daily MIS reports, including stock reports, transit stock, pending orders, advances, and other required reports

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of import procurement (PR to PO and payment process – SAP MM module)
  • Customs clearance and international freight forwarding expertise
  • Inventory control knowledge
  • Familiarity with MIGO, MIRO, movement types, and transfer orders in SAP
  • Purchase experience in engineering and industrial DI pipe consumable imports and domestic items
