Conversational AI Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled conversational AI engineer to build and optimize conversational flows in RetellAI.com, translating business requirements into structured dialogue flows, and integrating RetellAI agents with external platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conversational Flow Development: Build, configure, and optimize conversational flows in RetellAI.com, handling multiple branches, edge cases, and real-life conversation patterns.
  • Dialogue Flow Design: Translate business requirements into structured dialogue flows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Integration and Testing: Integrate RetellAI agents with external platforms via Make.com and/or n8n, debug, test, and refine agent behavior.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document workflows and provide best practices for scalable agent builds, collaborating with the internal team to deliver client-ready solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in conversational AI, automation, or related fields (exceptions possible for candidates with a strong project portfolio).
  • RetellAI Expertise: Proven expertise with RetellAI.com, specifically in conversational flow creation (not just single-prompt or multi-prompt setups).
  • Workflow Automation: Experience with Make.com and/or n8n for workflow automation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of webhooks, JSON, HTTP requests, APIs, and integrations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Portfolio: Evidence of completed projects (portfolio, demos, or case studies) showing real conversational flows.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent English communication skills.
