Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing banking device procurement, import along with Warehousing & Inventory Control Management.
  • They will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to achieve goals and objectives.

About the Role

  • Evaluate user requirements and assess multiple available products/services in the market to determine suitability.
  • Compare goods/services with industry trends to determine suitable pricing and negotiate contracts.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process, considering user needs and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Support users and legal functions for contract execution from a supply chain perspective.
  • Handle end-to-end activities related to warehousing & Inventory Control Management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions regularly to understand their demands and manage sufficient inventories accordingly through planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, maintaining trackers and repositories.
  • Implement cost-saving measures through existing contract negotiations with partners/agencies.
  • Ensure timely renewal of agreements as per contracting guidelines.
  • Manage imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHAs, and customs departments.
  • Engage with users to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchases, warehousing, and imports.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure timely vendor PO issuance and payment.
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors to ensure timely product/service delivery and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish daily inventory reports for all products.
  • Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to provide competitive pricing and timely services.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in Sourcing, Import, and Warehousing & Inventory Control Management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
