Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Cloud System Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, identity management, and access controls.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, deploying and configuring virtual machines, storage, networking, and other cloud services.

You will also implement and maintain identity management solutions, monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs, and manage and support cloud applications.

Furthermore, you will administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the cloud, ensuring compliance and security.

Troubleshooting issues and providing support for cloud services across the organization is also a key responsibility.

You will implement security best practices, including multi-factor authentication and access controls, and monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve vulnerabilities.

Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and company security policies.

Developing and maintaining scripts for automated cloud administration tasks is also a requirement.

You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation to increase efficiency.

Implementing and maintaining backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services is crucial.

Regularly testing and updating recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability is also essential.

Finally, you will provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices.
