Implementation Specialist

This role involves leading end-to-end implementation of Geneva, including installation, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support. Collaboration with fund accounting, operations, and technology teams is required to gather requirements and design Geneva workflows.

The primary responsibilities include mapping and migrating financial data into Geneva, developing and maintaining Geneva reports, workflows, and custom configurations to meet business needs. Additionally, the candidate will perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing), troubleshoot system issues, and ensure system accuracy. Training and supporting end-users in Geneva functionality, best practices, and reporting are also key aspects of this role.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail are necessary for success in this position. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is crucial. Prior experience in vendor/client-facing implementation projects is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field is required. 3–7 years of hands-on experience with SS&C Advent Geneva (implementation, configuration, or support) is essential. Strong understanding of fund accounting, portfolio accounting, and investment management workflows is also necessary.

A candidate should have proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and reporting tools (Geneva RSL, SSRS, or similar). Experience with system integration (trading platforms, data feeds, reconciliation tools, investor portals) is a significant advantage. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and a team player.

In addition to these qualifications, working knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, or asset managers would be beneficial. This is an onsite role based in Mysore, India, with US shift hours.
