
Industrial Equipment Technician

Well-established companies within the nutraceutical and food manufacturing sectors require skilled machinery maintenance engineers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality product standards. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring complex machinery used in production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines according to established protocols to guarantee accurate outputs.
- Conduct routine equipment checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain strict adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines during machine operations.
- Record precise data on machine performance, production outputs, and any downtime or malfunctions that may occur.
- Coordinate material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance activities according to operational requirements.
- Swiftly report and escalate any equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or anomalies to management.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment by adhering to GHP and safety standards.
- Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification exercises.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, including GMP, GHP, HACCP, and FSSAI/ISO standards.
- Ability to accurately conduct and document in-process checks.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to following SOPs.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with supervisors, QA teams, and maintenance personnel.
