Software Development Engineer III Role Overview

This senior Individual Contributor engineering position involves developing and maintaining software products. As a Software Development Engineer 3, you will be responsible for the development of products in your domain.

Key responsibilities include participating in technical leadership activities, coaching and mentoring existing colleagues, and interviewing/hiring new colleagues. You will also have opportunities to contribute to hiring and interviewing practices, and participate in recruitment assessments.

Relevant experience for this role includes successfully having impact on teams of teams, demonstrating experience designing, developing and running highly-scalable distributed systems, and experience implementing a range of design and architecture patterns.

  • Significant technical depth and breadth
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and bring order to ambiguous scenarios
