Cloud Computing Expert

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions. They should also be proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build / Jenkins, managing IAM, networking, and security in GCP environments, automating infrastructure using Terraform / Deployment Manager, and configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver).

As a Cloud Computing Engineer, you will work collaboratively with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions.
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build / Jenkins.
  • Managing IAM, networking, and security in GCP environments.
  • Automating infrastructure using Terraform / Deployment Manager.
  • Configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver).

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in GCP Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Expertise in Terraform / IaC.
  • Good understanding of Python / Java / Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
