Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support our applications and services.

About the Role

In this role, you will demonstrate innovative approaches to engineering and systems practices, contributing towards overall cloud infrastructure build. You will act as a developer advocate and partner, representing developer needs and assisting in the adoption of cloud and emerging technologies.

Foster a culture that emphasizes continuous improvement with automation at its heart. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock/Ping IAM products (AM, IDM, IG, DS).
  • Deep understanding of IAM architecture, integration methods, REST APIs, and directory services.
  • Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, scripting, and secure coding standards.
  • Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Exposure to DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications

A strong candidate should have knowledge of IAM solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how IAM integrates within those platforms. Experience with API security and integration using JSON, REST, and web services is also required.
