Wind Gearbox Component Expert Sought

We are looking for a skilled Wind Gearbox Component Expert to join our cross-functional team.

Job Overview:

  The successful candidate will collaborate with our HQ team to perform calculations, support documentation for certification, and contribute to the development of successful prototypes from concept to serial release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed calculations for wind gearboxes ensuring adherence to specifications and product safety in collaboration with HQ.
  • Support HQ in documenting technical requirements for certification purposes.
  • Contribute to the design and development of wind gearboxes from prototype development to serial release.
Technical Skills Required:
  • Extensive knowledge of calculations involving gears particularly helical gears.
  • Proficiency in design calculation of gearbox components including mechanical design principles.
  • Fundamental understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis.
  • Previous experience in calculating wind/industrial gearboxes is an added advantage.
Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of core experience in a relevant engineering role.
Software Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Kiss-soft or equivalent calculation tools.
  • Experience with NX Teamcenter and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Self-motivated creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
