About Us:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Manager to lead our end-to-end fabrication activities across multiple units.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations, and driving process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the fabrication team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Fabrication Strategies: Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.).
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Resource Planning: Plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively.
  • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team for performance enhancement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Vendor Management: Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance, if applicable.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication (as relevant).
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
