MERN Stack Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our development team. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience building scalable and performant full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work on developing end-to-end solutions, from designing database schemas to implementing responsive UI components and integrating RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code across front-end and back-end.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with Redux, React Hooks, and component-based architecture.
  • Ability to write clean and maintainable backend services with Node.js.
  • Knowledge of database design and query optimization (MongoDB preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth) and security best practices.
