Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Manual Software Tester to join our team. As a key member of the QA department, you will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet the required standards.

About the Role:

  • Manual Testing Expertise: Conduct functional, regression, UI, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure coverage across multiple platforms.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Analyze software requirements to design detailed test plans and execute tests with precision.
  • Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of focused manual testing experience.
  • Proficiency in formalizing test documentation.
  • Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with Agile workflows.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with API testing tools.
  • Exposure to SQL or database validation techniques.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing and device debugging tools.
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
