Program Associate - Communications & Social Media

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Associate - Communications & Social Media. In this role, you will be responsible for building a strong teacher community, engaging stakeholders, and shaping the narrative around government schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and engage a dynamic teacher community through digital campaigns.
  • Promote impactful stories from schools and classrooms.
  • Create engaging content (posts, reels, videos, blogs, newsletters) that resonates with our audience.
  • Grow and manage our social media presence across platforms.
  • Collaborate with educators, field teams, and stakeholders to redefine the narrative around government schools.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Social Work, or related fields.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital engagement.
  • Possess strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills, with proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, video editing, and English, Hindi, and local languages.
  • Be able to analyze engagement metrics and refine strategies with an analytical mindset.
  • Be passionate about education, community building, and creating large-scale social impact.
