Financial Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to manage our firm's financial operations, ensuring compliance with US taxation and accounting standards for venture capital funds. The ideal candidate will oversee payroll management for Indian employees, providing expertise in fund accounting, US taxation compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fund Accounting:
    • Manage daily fund accounting activities, including general ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
    • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
    • Track fund performance, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • US Taxation Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with US tax laws for venture capital funds, including tax return preparation and filing.
    • Monitor and stay updated on changes in US tax regulations affecting the fund's operations and investor relations.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and planning.
  • Payroll Management (Indian Employees):
    • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
    • Manage salary calculations, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure timely salary disbursement and handle related administrative tasks.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Assist in preparing financial reports and audits, providing insights into the firm's financial health.
    • Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure financial operations comply with relevant regulations, including fund reporting and tax filings.
    • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all financial transactions, audits, and tax filings.
