Cargo Movement Strategist

The role involves overseeing end-to-end planning and execution of strategic cargo movements. A proven track record in managing complex logistics operations, developing cargo movement strategies, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential.

• Cargo Planning and Execution: Develop and implement effective cargo movement strategies aligning with customer requirements and vessel schedules.
• Rate Management and Negotiations: Lead rate quotation and negotiation processes, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

• Vessel and Booking Coordination: Ensure timely allocation of bookings and collaborate with the planning team to secure space, including feeder service requirements when necessary.
• Inventory and Equipment Management: Supervise coordination with inventory and MNR teams for container allocation, arranging Empty Container and CSC certificates as per carrier requirements.

• Operational Oversight and Compliance: Validate dimension changes, liaising with pricing teams for revised rate approvals, and ensure booking forecasts are aligned with planned vessel schedules.
• Performance Monitoring and Process Optimization: Drive operational excellence by monitoring key performance metrics and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
