We are seeking a talented individual to fill a Graduate Trainee position in our logistics and supply chain department. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic operational environment.

  • This trainee will gain hands-on experience in managing daily operations at Container Freight Stations (CFS) and depots, coordinating cargo movements, container handling, and warehouse management.
  • They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in data analysis and reporting, using MS Excel to manage operational data and create professional PowerPoint presentations to present findings and operational updates.

The successful candidate will participate in training programs focused on logistics, CFS operations, and industry best practices. They will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance operational efficiency.

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in any field and proficiency in MS Office. Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of data analytics and be able to analyze data, identify trends, and offer solutions for operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Ground Experience in CFS and Depot Operations:
    • Manage daily operations at CFS and depots.
    • Coordinate cargo movements, container handling, and warehouse management.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data from CFS and depots.
    • Prepare regular reports and performance dashboards using data analytics tools.
  • MS Office Expertise:
    • Use MS Excel to manage operational data and perform calculations.
    • Create professional PowerPoint presentations to present findings and operational updates.
  • Presentation & Communication:
    • Present reports on depot and CFS operations to internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and identify improvements.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist in special projects related to CFS operations, warehouse efficiency, and depot management.
    • Work under the supervision of senior team members to achieve project goals and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Learning & Development:
    • Participate in training programs focused on logistics, CFS operations, and industry best practices.
    • Actively seek learning opportunities to understand logistics workflows and supply chain management.
