Optimize Vessel Performance

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the optimization of vessel performance across our global client base.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. The role requires monitoring, identifying and troubleshooting inefficiencies in vessel fuel consumption, engine performance and auxiliary systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations and analysis to develop action plans and implement performance improvement measures
  • Leading detailed examinations of vessel performance issues
  • Overseeing client communications, performance meetings and monthly vessel performance reviews
  • Remaining up-to-date with modern technologies, evaluating decarbonization and energy efficiency projects and planning crew training and operational optimization

The ideal candidate will be a Chief Engineer with sailing experience on oil/chemical tankers or gas carriers, or a Naval Architect with experience in vessel performance. A minimum of 4 years of shore-based experience leading vessel performance functions is also required.
