About the Role

We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to lead financial operations for our fast-growing brand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll, and inventory accounting.

2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.

3. Maintain clean and compliant financial records in line with regulatory standards.

4. Manage accounting for online sales platforms, including reconciliation of payouts, returns, and commissions.

5. Track customer refunds, chargebacks, and promotions across multiple channels.

6. Monitor logistics costs, warehousing expenses, and fulfillment-related accounting.

7. Ensure accurate inventory valuation in systems integrated with storefronts.

8. Oversee statutory compliance, including tax filings and ROC submissions.

9. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts with insights into sales, margins, and operational expenditures.

10. Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, and present actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

2. 2-4 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a D2C environment.

3. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).

4. Solid understanding of marketplace accounting and integrations.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

6. High attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
