Senior Cloud Development Engineer Observability Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Development Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will design and develop observability solutions for cloud-hosted applications, ensuring seamless monitoring and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing observability solutions for cloud-hosted applications.
  • Implementing microservices monitoring for Pega Cloud services.
  • Enabling observability monitoring capabilities, including metric collection, logging, and APM tracing.
  • Familiarity with Open Telemetry standards for distributed tracing and open metric collection.
  • Defining KPIs, SLI, SLO, and SLAs for microservices.
  • Managing and maintaining monitoring tools and technologies.
  • Correlating Pega infrastructure and application metrics, error codes, and logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Passion for cloud technologies and experience with Observability tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code delivery models.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools, and Jenkins.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies and AWS.
