Job Opportunity: Hydraulic Design Manager

About the Job

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and develop hydraulic systems for water supply schemes and irrigation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct water requirement calculations for water supply schemes and irrigation pipe distribution network projects.
  2. Develop zone and water user association block plans for projects.
  3. Create pipeline layout plans for water supply schemes and pressurized/ gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  4. Design hydraulic systems using Water GEMS software.
  5. Prepare L-sections of pipeline designs using AutoCAD and E survey Software.
  6. Investigate, survey, design, engineer calculations and prepare working drawings and estimates for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  7. Determine item-wise bill of quantity for projects.
  8. Estimate quantities and prepare bar bending schedules from drawings.
  9. Obtain design approvals from government departments and vetting institutes.
  10. Interact with government departments on-site for convincing, scrutiny, and approval.
  11. Compose reports and present findings effectively.
